The ink's rich dark berry color, derived from natural sources (Solanum americanum) I do add stabilizer so the berries do not sour and essential oils for a berry scent. Unlike some inks ours doesn's fade right away, but like many natural dyes and inks, it may gradually fade when exposed to sunlight and could eventually take on a gray hue.
