3. Candle Lighting: Light your candle, using a wooden match or the flame of a helper taper candle. As the flame illuminates, imagine your intention being sent out into the Cosmos.

4. Anoint and Dress the Candle: Before the ritual, anoint your candle with oils, herbs, or powders. Apply them while focusing on your intention. Remember to rub oil up for drawing desires and down for repelling or reversing.

5. Inscribe and Seal: Optionally, inscribe your candle with a person's name, a sigil, or a symbol. Seal the candle's intention by either kissing it or verbalizing your goal.

6. Observation: Pay attention to how the candle flame burns, the wick, smoke, and wax melting. These signs can offer insights into your spell's progress.
